HOW WE CLEAN

We understand that how we go about cleaning your home is just as important as the end result.

  • Australian made and certified eco-friendly cleaning products
  • Product formulas are palm oil free and not tested on animals
  • Colour coded spray bottles to ensure products are used correctly
  • Formulas diluted as per manufacturer instructions
  • Fresh cleaning cloths and mop heads for each service
  • Microfibre cloths to trap germs without the overuse of product
  • Colour coded cloths to avoid the cross contamination of bacteria
  • Systems in place to ensure clean and dirty cloths are kept separately
  • Commercial backpack vacuums to clean floors easily and efficiently
  • Battery operated vacuums to avoid the use of client power
  • Vacuum filters cleaned regularly to avoid spreading allergen particles
  • A large selection of small tools and equipment to get into every corner

how we keep you safe

We understand that opening your home to strangers can be daunting and overwhelming, but we can assure you we are doing everything in our power to protect those we support.

team members

  • All candidates are interviewed via phone and in person and reference checked before they join our team
  • Full training and ongoing support provided so team members can focus on supporting our clients
  • All team members are required to provide valid working with children checks and NDIS clearances
  • Team members are all Australian citizens, permanent residents or have valid visas with working rights

property security

  • All team members are covered by our full public liability insurance for accidental breakages & damages
  • All team members must provide a police check dated within 12 months of their start date.
  • Client contact details are not given out to team members unless you provide it to them yourself
  • Client property keys are locked in a secure safe and only given out on the day of your cleaning service

Infection control

  • All team members undergo Covid-19 and Infection Control Training and Certification
  • We have a 'Feel Unwell Don't Work' Policy in place and team members must go or stay home if unwell
  • Hand sanitiser and gloves are provided to all team members to use whilst cleaning tasks
  • Ask us if you would like your team members to wear a facial mask whilst providing your service

do eco products actually work?

Yes! Coating our homes and workspaces in nasty chemical laden formulas is unnecessary when nature's disinfectants and degreasers are right at our fingertips.

Most of us care about what we put inside and, on our bodies, but yet we often forget about the surfaces our bodies touch and the fabrics that touch our bodies.

We only use cleaning products from our trusted Australian made manufacturers such as Euca and Tri Nature. They have a product for every surface in your home and after we finish you won't be able to tell the difference!

will eco make my service longer?

No natural cleaning products do not take any longer to work than traditional cleaning products. The products we use are great for furniture, benchtops, mirrors, glass, floors and even toilets! 

We may occasionally need to use a stronger product in the shower areas to keep grout discolouration at bay but we have a few tips to share with our clients to ensure this occurs infrequently as possible.

what if my home isn't clean?

Don't worry we have seen it all before and are here to help you not judge. 

Eco products are great at disinfecting and maintaining hygienic surfaces, but they are not miracle in a bottle and won't bring a bathroom that hasn't been cleaned in 6 months back from the brink.

When it comes to eco products we believe in the lesser of two evils! There's no point telling our clients that we won't use any harsh products at all and then you are left disappointed when a service you have paid for doesn't deliver results.

When our team deems necessary, we will use a stronger product to get a surface back to a good condition then we will maintain it with eco products.

why are traditional products bad

Traditional cleaning products are filled with harsh toxic ingredients and unnecessary fillers and additives to make suds to make the product go further.

For many families they are the go-to product of choice but just because they are cheap and effective does not mean they're good for us.

If we can avoid exposing our clients and ourselves to such chemicals and still offer excellent cleaning we will.

what IS THE IMPACT OF these PRODUCts?

Cleaning our clothes, washing dishes and disinfecting surfaces we touch with harsh ingredients can lead to skin sensitivities, breakouts, allergies, breathing & sensory difficulties. Many people can suffer irritations and not just those with chronic conditions or weak immune systems.

 It doesn't just affect us first hand either. Every time we drain the kitchen sink or flush the toilet with these ingredients, we are adding non-biodegradable microbes to the water table that filters through our eco system entering our waterways and into our food chain.

The strong lingering smells that we positively associate with cleanliness may not be all that positive.

are all chemicals bad?

No not all chemicals are bad. It would be naive to assume that the products we use are chemical free as all chemicals do occur naturally in our environment. 

The brands we use have chosen to include the good ingredients that work and to leave out the nasty ingredients that are unnecessary. They will leave your home safe and sparkling clean for all activities and all members of the family!
