what makes green squirrel different?

Not all cleaning service providers are the same. Green Squirrel is different because of our hiring policy.

The industry as a whole will try to claim that good cleaners are hard to come by or people just don't have a strong work ethic anymore. This is how they try to explain their high turnover of staff.

But the truth is people are happy to clean for a living and will work hard, if they are treated well in return. 

A lot of cleaning positions are contractors paid for the time they are working and not in between jobs. 

For those cleaning in hotels or hospitals it doesn't make much difference, but for the domestic space it can make it difficult to make a meaningful wage. They can be out of the house 8-10 hours of the day but only get paid for 4-6 of those.

It feels like they are working full time but only coming away with a part time wage.

With this in mind you can understand why people don't stay in these positions very long. They go and find something better.

Hourly paid employees means that our staff are provided with stability and a wage they can rely on so they can focus on supporting our clients.
